Pet Photo Shoot Time

It's that time of year again here at The Pet Cabaret - Pet Photo Shoot Time! Last year the talented and very patient photographer Carol Lundeen took fabulous shots of all kinds of canine and feline visitors and this year Carol is doing the honors once again.


So here's the details and answers to some FAQs.


Dates: Sunday, November 14th and Sunday, November 21st


Time: 11 AM to 5 PM 


Cost: $30 per session


What is a session? It is a 20 minute private session with Carol after which you will walk away with a 4 X 6 mounted photo of your pet.


What else? The option to get holiday cards, a compilation CD, and individual enlargements of particularly fabulous shots.


We hope to have some surprises for you this year as well and we're working on those.


What do I have to do to partake of this madness? Call the store at 617-323-7387 to book a session or drop by to book one in person...you know how we crave company.


Please note that the November 14th sessions are almost totally booked up. Please call the store to book sessions for the 21st.

Dandy photos all around

Well, we had a wonderful day last Sunday for our annual Holiday Pet Photo Day. We turned our self serve into a photo studio for the day filling it with fake snow, a toboggan, and crazy looking ornaments.

Amazingly, we had no "yellow snow" incidendents.

What we did have was a lot of fun and laughs. We also got fabulous pictures thanks to Carol's patience and talent.

We'll be putting them up on our site as soon as we have them, and we'll be planning another shoot with Carol for the future.

Holiday Pet Photo Shoot

We've scheduled our Holiday Pet Photo Shoot for
Sunday, November 15th from 11 am - 5 pm.
It'll be at the store...4404 Washington St. in lovely Roslindale, MA.

Photographer Carol Lundeen will be doing the honors this year.

Come by the store to sign up in advance.

Carol will be taking appointments throughout the day.

It'll cost $30.00 and you will walk away with a 4 X 6 photo of your pet.

Carol will also be offering other photo ordering options including holiday card printing.

A New Photographer and Pet Photo Day!

We are thoroughly pleased to announce that on Sunday, June 29th, photographer Andrew Potter will be doing pet portraits here at The Pet Cabaret.

Andrew is a Roslindale guy and does beautiful work of pets, people and objects. Check out his website at http://potterimages.com/ for a look at his work.

Now here's a few of the details on the photo day:

- Each session is a private sitting that will last about 20 minutes or so.

- Sessions must be booked in advance.

- Multiple pets are welcome.

- Kids and owners can sit in on the shots.

- There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee required to book a session.

- The total session fee is $75.00 and includes a Photo package. The Photo Package includes one of the following:

2 - 8 x 10 prints, or 1 - 8 x 10 and 2 - 5 x 7 prints, or 1 - 8 x 10 and 4 - 4 x 6 prints.

- Andrew will post each session to his website in its own secure gallery so that you may choose the shots you want.
